Emely Hernandez is an alumna of the University of Central Florida who earned a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in Spanish language in August 2021. Is now located in Tampa, Florida as an assistant teacher for Hillsborough County Public Schools since 2023. Her previous stint from 2021-2022 was in Monroe,LA with Gannett as a Multimedia sports reporter for USA Today/Gannett. She spent the 2021 summer as an intern at The Washington Post working with the Sports desk. The Tampa native is a former Editor in Chief for NSM.Today, with responsibilities including overseeing reporters and editing copy for the student-run publication at UCF. Go Knights!
